Jam Factory Studios, offers a first class studio environment in a unique setting - an old Victorian factory! This studio prides itself in giving you a fantastic experience and we really couldn't recommend it enough. They also provide a range of other services and courses so you really should check it out! the studio is located at 106 Eldon St, York YO31 7NH and is easily accessible from the city centre.
The Chair Works is the only studio in the area able to offer residential recording packages - a great option if you really want to throw yourself into the process! Also built into an old factory (guess what kind?), The Chair Works is probably the largest studio facility in the north of England. It can be found at Morrison Street, Castleford WF10 4BE, just off the M62.
Young Thugs is just a 10 minute walk from the city walls of York. Created in a unique building, they've put together an inspirational space for making music that combines cutting edge digital recording technology with classic analogue equipment. Built into a series of rooms across a 150-year-old social club, Young Thugs Studio plays host to album, EP, singles, and live recordings alongside our record label. You can find them at South Bank Social Club, Ovington Terrace, York YO23 1DJ.
