My approach enables me to help my students learn through playing the music that inspired them to start learning how to play the piano, building courses of lessons that will help motivate and enthuse my students to progress.
Whether you are looking to play for fun, accompany yourself or progress through grades or similar, my lessons will provide a thorough yet relaxed way of learning the instrument.
I have many years experience as a music teacher, having gained a 1st Class Music B.A from the University of York in 2014. I was also awarded the Horatio Waywell Prize for outstanding performance in Grade 8 Woodwind examinations that year.
“My lessons will be tailored to your particular style and speed of learning, to help you get the best out of each and every lesson.”
Alongside my music tuition, I am also an active musician and musical director. I have written and performed shows across the UK, including at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival as part of the Donkey Zoo Collective.
As well as recording and played for Leo James Conroy and as part of "The Chaplain Trio" with Georgia Johnson & James Wood. This extensive experience as an active musician helps me to provide quality piano tuition to students of all abilities, including those who are at an intermediate or advanced level.
